BRISK PLATINUM

Pads of Platinum and Yttrium alloy contacts are welded on both the central and outer electrodes. The properties of Platinum are extremely stable and therefore do not exhibit changes over long durations. Utilizing Platinum in spark plugs has the benefit of insignificant burning of the electrodes. This makes it possible to use a central electrode reduced to a very small diameter, which contributes to reduction of the extinguishing effect and facilitates flame front propagation in the first phases after ignition of the mixture in the engine cylinder. The extreme erosion resistance of the Platinum allows narrow electrodes not impeding the flame front extension thus increasing engine performance.

The replacement interval is 100,000 km.
